   The total area of the Museum is 47 sq.m, the area of the display is 24 sq. m, the total number of items in the collection, including the major, supplementary, and library collections, is 10000, while 95 items are displayed.
   The most interesting and informative part of the display is a scientific library which includes about 8000 items. These are books, journals, reprints of papers, atlases, maps, reference-books, dictionaries, etc. The library occupies the book-cases along almost all the walls of the room. In between the book-cases there are paintings and photographs connected with the life and work of A. Vinogradov. The main work of the
museum is the study of the scientific heritage of academician A. Vinogradov in order to popularize his scientific work, including the publishing of his papers, organizing excursions, paticipating in scientific conferences, writing papers, etc.
